Caught between solid earth and the stars, you’re invited into six universes filled with music, art, misfits and mayhem as Brisbane's most vibrant artists carve out ethereal spaces, each as unique and bespoke as the next.
TROPICAL TRASH DISCO
For ONE NIGHT ONLY, Tropical Trash Disco takes over one of Brisbane’s most exclusive hotel rooftops and transforms it into a scandalous subtropical haunt, inspired by Studio 54. This is an evening of decadence, drag, culinary delights and cocktails, complete with audacious performance antics and a wicked dance floor.
Dance the night away with an icon of Brisbane's drag scene, Vollie LaVont, wayward waiters, Disco Sallys, pop up performances and Go Go creatures to boot — with sounds provided by the notorious DJ Sveta.
Escape with the juiciest cocktail of Brief Factory artists who will meet and greet, wine and dine and entertain your kaftans off with a sweaty fever dream of disco, funk, house and soul in an outrageous 3 hr extravaganza.
