Stay COVID Safe

Being COVID Safe continues to be a shared responsibility. We want you to enjoy the Festival and stay safe. Please follow COVID Safe practices when attending Festival events.

Brisbane Festival will adhere to current COVID-19 restrictions as specified in the Queensland Chief Health Officer Public Health Directions.

#We recommend you

Stay home if you are unwell

Stay home if you are unwell or have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath. Be sure to take a rapid antigen test (RAT) if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

Practice good hygiene

Wash your hands often using soap and water or hand sanitiser. Hand sanitiser stations will be available at festival sites and venues.

Wear a mask when required

Consider carrying a mask, and wear a mask if you are required (for example by a healthcare provider or by Public Health Directions).

#Do not attend if...

you have a fever, cough, sore throat, headache, distorted sense of taste, shortness of breath, chills, vomiting or any cold/flu like symptoms.

  • If you become unwell during an event, locate event staff or first aid. In venues, approach a venue usher or staff member. In public spaces, locate a BF usher who will be wearing a BF t-shirt and lanyard.
  • Businesses have the right to refuse service and must insist that anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms leaves the venue. This applies to events held in and around performing arts venues, as well as in public event spaces managed by Brisbane Festival.
