Stay COVID Safe

Being COVID Safe is a shared responsibility. We want you to enjoy the Festival and stay safe. Please follow COVID Safe practices when attending Festival events.

Brisbane Festival is delivered within Queensland Health’s COVID Safe Events framework. Our COVID safe planning will be modified to align with changing government directives.

Carry a mask at all times, and wear a mask if you are unable to socially distance.

#Do not attend if...

In the past 14 days, you have had a fever, cough, sore throat, headache, distorted sense of taste, shortness of breath, chills, vomiting or any cold/flu like symptoms in the last 72 hours.

  • If you become unwell during an event, locate event staff or first aid. In venues, approach a venue usher or staff member. In public spaces, locate a BF usher who will be wearing a BF t-shirt and lanyard.
  • Businesses have the right to refuse service and must insist that anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms leaves the venue. This applies to events held in and around performing arts venues, as well as in public event spaces managed by Brisbane Festival.
