#Getting There

Parking

The University provides a range of parking options at all campuses and most locations for staff, students and visitors.
Paid parking applies at our St Lucia, Herston and Dutton Park campuses.

Public Transport

St Lucia campus is conveniently serviced by more than 10 direct bus routes from the Brisbane CBD and outer suburbs.

Some routes travel via rapid-transit busways, which offer congestion-free services to and from campus. There are also frequent services from Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and Toowong.

St Lucia campus has two bus stations, located at Chancellor’s Place and the Lakes.

Ride Your Bike

We encourage travel on bicycles, electric bikes (e-bikes) and electric scooters (e-scooters), as a cleaner, greener way to get to and around St Lucia campus.

To help you to ride safely and easily at UQ, we're implementing new transport initiatives that support a safe riding environment for both pedestrians and riders.

These include creating the rideables network to help you find your way around, ensuring safe zones for pedestrians, and adding new locations to park shared devices so you can leave easily when you're done.

Audio labels and descriptions

Audio labels (an audio version of the written labels that are displayed with each artwork in an exhibition) are available via QR codes at our reception desk and throughout our exhibitions. Please bring your own device and headphones. Audio labels can also be accessed via SoundCloud.

Sensory considerations

Some of our exhibitions feature artworks that contain sounds and video. You may like to bring ear plugs or other aids for your visit.

Our staff will be able to assist you in identifying artworks that may be particularly challenging for visitors with sensory concerns.
