Brisbane Festival’s smash-hit Serenades program is back for its fifth year. This year, we present five incredible outdoor concerts, taking place from north and the south, amongst the city’s gorgeous green spaces, gardens, parks, and rivers.
Come along to experience the joy of music, dance, and connection, and celebrate an illustrious array of diverse talents showcased across traditional and modern genres, spanning cultural, classical, jazz, indie, and more.

Moorooka Block Party
The crowd-favourite Moorooka Block Party will kick off Brisbane Festival’s Serenades program with an impressive line-up of Australia's finest First Nations and World Music performers. Bop, dance, jump, sing and revel in celebratory sounds, from afro beats to carnivalesque grooves, guitars to gourds, didgeridoos to djembes to Saraswati veena. There’s a party on the block and you’re invited!
Pasifica Made
Pasifika Made is more than just a show; it's a celebration that amplifies the voices of Polynesian, Melanesian, Micronesian, Māori, and Indigenous artists. From across the Australian and Pacific Island diaspora, a dynamic line up of artists ignites the stage in the spirit of the Moana, weaving together a vibrant fabric of cultural and contemporary Pasifika dance, music, and storytelling with a bit of quirk and island humour!
Portside Serenades
Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Carnival style jazz at Portside Serenades, where the river meets the rhythm. Nestled in the picturesque setting of Portside Wharf, this festival is a melodious evening designed for jazz lovers of all stripes. Bring your dancing shoes and join us at this instalment of Serenades for an unforgettable evening of music, food, and festivity.
St. Lucia Serenades
Get your dose of Vitamin D and enjoy a free all-ages concert featuring an incredible line-up of musical goodness and dynamic ensembles at The University of Queensland's new scenic lakeside amphitheatre. Calling all students, families, and indie music fans to come and enjoy the gorgeous spring weather. Bring a picnic and your dancing shoes, as you will need both!
Voices in Victoria Park
Whether you're a lifelong classical music aficionado or new to the genre, Voices of Victoria Park offers a captivating experience, showcasing local talent against the backdrop of one of the city's most picturesque green spaces.
