An exciting collaboration between the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra and Griffith Film School, FilmHarmonic features original collaborations between student composers and filmmakers alongside established and iconic film music performed as a live soundtrack to the moving image.
A concert underpinned by research around visual technology in the concert hall, collaborative performance and groundbreaking advances in interactive media, this event was a sellout in 2021.
FilmHarmonic Open Dress Rehearsal
The Friday night premiere of FilmHarmonic has now sold out. In a special exclusive, we're opening our Conservatorium Theatre doors to the public for our final dress rehearsal on Wednesday 21 September. If you have ever wondered how a Queensland Conservatorium production comes to life, this is your chance to find out. This dress rehearsal, open to the public, is your opportunity to experience FilmHarmonic from a unique and exclusive viewpoint.
