BLAK Warehouse Party
Brisbane Festival, The Queensland Government and Brisbane City Council present
First Nations Dance music is taking over the whole scene, and always will be.
All ages Blak dance party! Come celebrate First Nations dance music at the BLAK Warehouse Party presented in partnership with Blak Social at The Paint Factory in Yeronga. There will be plenty of deadly beats, pop-up retail stores, food and drink available for purchase.
This alcohol free, all ages event is for the whole community so bring your cousins and get ready to party. Refreshments available from Sobah Drinks and Lenny’s Indigenous MKR Mobile Kupmurri Catering Service.

Accessibility
The Paint Factory is literally a converted factory. The floor is concrete and the entry access will be through a large roller door entry way.
There is an accessible toilet on site.
The event will have lighting effects, haze and loud music. There will be some designated chill out zones, however as the event is a dance party there will always be some level of sound

What to bring
👟 Good dancing shoes, the floor is concrete so we recommend comfortable shoes with padding to maximise your dancing experience.
💦 Refillable water bottle — water refill station available on site.
🧃 Lenny’s Kupmurri and Sobah Beverages will be on sale — this is an alcohol free event.
Getting There
We strongly encourage the use of public transport. The Paint Factory is on the bus route 105, Stop ID 3681, and 10 minutes walk from Yeronga Train Station. If travelling by public transport, Translink's Journey Planner can help you with your trip.
Brisbane Festival will provide a shuttle bus to transport patrons back to Yeronga Station at the events end. The shuttle bus will do round trips to the station between 8:30pm and 9:30pm.
Parking
There is some parking available on site with Festival Event Staff to direct you to the allocated Event parking area. If you are planning to attend by car, we recommend car pooling with your friends and family.
